I've been a bit slow when it comes to updating things in our home, but there really isn't too much to update.
Gary and I are still practicing our sword fighting- and man, it's quite a workout. But it's nice. We're actually looking for gloves now to help handle the shock of being hit and for better grip, etc. It may seem funny we're doing this (and it probably is), but it's SO MUCH FUN! We're enjoying it and laughing along as we try to hit each other with practice swords. There's so much technique and movement, especially with the feet.
I'm also crossing my fingers for a job interview for a position for a local school district. I had to test first, but I passed all three sections. So, I'm just hoping I get called for an interview. I really miss working for the schools. It's been difficult to get my foot back in the door since we moved from Bakersfield.
We don't have any big plans for Valentine's Day, except for maybe going out to dinner or just having a romantic evening. We'll see a movie tonight though, since I'm sure the theaters might be packed tomorrow night- and thanks to Devonn and Carla, our movie will be free (Christmas gift we've been saving for VDay).
Anyway, that's pretty much it. Gary had a fantastic time shooting on Saturday with a bunch of guys from our ward. They went skeet shooting at Oak Tree- he was there all morning and said he had an awesome time. I love when he gets to go out with the guys- I mean, who wants to hang out with their spouse all the time? I'm just not as cool- and he can talk about guy stuff.
Bye!
